Minimum Equipment required: press Leg extension attachment on a bench

To use the best equipment: leg extension machine

Warm up: Warm up to perform a rate 15 to 20 reps with light to moderate weight.

How often should this exercise: leg extensions on each leg training can be carried out, leg extensions are great for setting the quad muscles.

When should this exercise: Because isolation exercises are performed for a basic exercise like squats should.

How to Exercise: Sit in a seat with your back straight, feet hooked under the pad. Stretch your legs out so that they are almost straight, (never lock out legs), hold for half a second, then slowly lower the weight back to starting position.

Mentality: Leg extensions are relatively easy, especially because using a machine to aid the movement but dont let this put you off, leg stretches really help insulate the underside of the quadriceps muscles and give you great muscle definition.
